Let's Get Some Skin In The Game!

Yikes!  We are in a crisis!

Here we are just coming out of the All Star Break, and we are already 17 ½ games back.  Ouch!

I still think this is the team that can get the job done.  Sporadically, we have played very well.  I think what we need now is consistency.  It seems really important to me we end the season no further back than 10 games.

While we can’t bat for you, the lady fans and I are willing to do our part.  Each game we get closer to 10 back, we will wear something to the stadium a little bit more “exciting”.  How about that, Billy?  Are you guys up for the challenge?

By the way, my personal record of attendance is still perfect.  Out of the last 13 Royals games I have attended at the stadium, we have won 13 for 13!  Wow!  I did go to the All Star Game where I watched our league go under 8 to zip, but I do not count that since it was not a Royals game.

The "Monet Charm" Seems to Work

The Charm of Monet worked.  That's 10 games in a row the Royals have won, when I have been at the Stadium, which makes it 10 for 10.  


We beat the Red Sox!


Go Royals!!!!  I hope they keep winning until I can attend another game.

Royals Baseball

I love baseball and am a staunch supporter of the Kansas City Royals.  There is something about the potential of this year’s team that gets me very excited.  I have already been looking through my wardrobe to pick out what to wear at the playoffs.

Although I have not been able to attend a lot of games in person, every time I’ve been able to attend, the Royals have won!  If my count is correct, I am now at 9 for 9.  My, so far, perfect record is all going to be on the line this Tuesday night, since I plan to be “live” in the stadium as the Royals take on Boston.  The famous Royals fan, Dr. “Chuck” Leffler has invited me to enjoy the game in one of his “TV” seats located right behind the plate.  Every time a ball is pitched, there I will be, in the second row, as big as life.  Everyone I have been telling about my perfect record and “Victory Charm” will be able to see me on TV.  If we lose, my record will be shattered. 

Come on guys, this is a must win game!  Let’s show Boston that 2012 belongs to Kansas City!
